    Ray of hope - FSW - 1

A vaccine is likely to be released by the end of this year therefore I believe they will start conducting draws around September/October because that's when we will know for sure one or some of the vaccines being tested right now are effective. Not to mention new studies on several medications...

Ray of Hope - 139th Draw

Probably there will be some tolerance due to the circunstances we're in right now. It is not about the annual target per say and my CRS is 460 at the moment so yeah, I am one of those people. I am just stating that they have to achieve their target for the year and if we lose a couple of draws...

Ray of Hope - 139th Draw

Even if they skip draws because of corona, which is understandable, they will have to conduct extra draws to achieve their target for the year, so don't panic. We might slow down now but probably there will be a some kind of boost on ITA for the second semester or a higher target for 2021 to...

Ray of Hope - 138th Draw

Not saying it's number 2 because I don't think it is, but there is no reason why they should compensate for a B2B draw in january. They dont have to make a back 2 back draw just because it happened a couple of times. And FST were included in this round. Just read the footnote. Maybe that is the...

Ray of Hope - 138th Draw

I tried to do your math but I failed miserably. lol If it is not a lot of trouble, could you please breakdown the ranges between 450-470? I mean, how many people there are between 450-455 / 456-460/ 461-465 and so on?

Can you migrate to Canada if you are 35 years old with current cut off scores?

Your age really doesn't matter as long as you achieve the desirable score. Of course, with 35, you must have way more qualification than people younger than 30 which make things more expensive and difficult, but not impossible. Just use CRS calculator and see what you should do to achieve...

Ray of Hope - 136th Draw

Honestly, I wasn't expecting a 2 point drop so I think it's good news. We had a 3 week gap and we are already close to 469 which was the cut off of. B2B draw. Despite the fact that we have almost 20.000 people in the 450-600 range it seems people who are getting in the pool are not so high in...

Ray of Hope - 135th Draw

Well, I will give it a try since CRS is not going drop to 460 anytime soon. My profile now has only 400 points. This feels so unfair, I would be out of this round. Let's see what happens. Thanks for your time.

Thing is, it is expressly said that we should have the language with the highest score as first language and if we change it our CRS will drop drastically. Not only that but I am afraid it might be considered misrepresentation since we are going against what is being recommeded. =\ I just sent...

I certainly ticked this box for both BC and Ontario. I was sure of it and I just double checked it. I did not since I have CLB 9 and 10 in english and CLB 7+ in french. It is recommended at the EE profile that we should "choose the one with the highest CLB/NCLC scores". It does not make any...

Ray of Hope - 135th Draw

Well, that is interesting. Maybe I am wrong then. Theoretically I would be in too but I did not received anything. I am not sure if the french criteria is the only thing they are looking for along with CRS score or if Ontario selects specific individuals who are more interesting for the...

Ray of Hope - 135th Draw

I am not sure it works like this. I am at 460 and also have french CLB7+ and Ontario selected but i dont think PNPs are as transparent as EE. I guess they selected only people that at least have been to Ontario or are already there. They issue around 200 invitations, that is not much.

Ray of Hope - 135th Draw

I think it will go down but it's just a guess based on the fact that score didnt go up much in these 3 weeks gap. Last few times we had 3 weeks gaps we saw an increase between 10-20 points. There is a lot of people in the 450-470 range though so I do not expect it to go down drastically. Keep in...

Ray of Hope - 135th Draw

The score never touched 480 even with PNP and increasing number of applications. Of course it is a possibility throughout the year since we saw a big increase in 2019 but it is unlikely it will touch 480 soon. We just had a 3 week gap and score was up only by 4 points. Let's hope CRS will...

People whinning because they will have to do a simple ECA is getting on my nerves. Sorry to say that but this is a relatively cheap, fast and effortless process compared to learn a new language, score clb10 in IELTS or getting a masters degree. Jesus, you guys are lucky you only to have submit...

Ray of Hope - 133rd Draw

Honestly it sounds fair. Theoretically, when you apply to be an international student you have to prove ties to your home country therefore you are expected to go back and not immigrate. That's why the system is designed that way. If you are pursuing an Canadian education solely to get an PR...

Ray of Hope - 133rd Draw

The crazy thing is, the 460 trend lasted about 3 months only. Now it's gone and it doesn't seem to come back any time soon if ever. How to pursue a certain score if we are not sure for how long it is going to trend?

Ray of Hope - 133rd Draw

You both saying that just because it benefits you. Just sit tight and a couple of more years of work should do the trick for you. You are basically saying you should have the right to buy PRs by spending stupid amount of money in a Canadian college. I do not think that's fair at all. You already...
