i used the international express mail service. i got confused with the CIC instruction about postage stamps on the envelope(an advice i got from someone who applied in october) so i used IEMS. tomorrow will be the day of reckoning and i'm still hoping.

this is quite a relief to hear. my NOC is 5141(psychologists) which is way below cap. i really hope you're right, that CICwill consider the date it was sent. it was actually sent december 22 thought the tracking history says it left originating country on december 24.

desertfox, my documents was sent from manila on december 22 and arrived in richmond BC on the 28th. 7:10am january 2, it was already in halifax. do you think CIC will still receive my application since it has been in canada 3 days befor the cut-off date?

i sent my documents thru ems last december 22. it arrived in richmond BC december 28 but based on the last update it's still in transit to nova scotia. obviously it will reach CIO after december 31. will they consider the date i sent my documents? i really hope they do. crossing my fingers.

my tracking hasn't updated since 1:35 of december 30. it says it was already processed and in transit. i hope they deliver even at midnight.
