Yes, gift deed is absolutely fine. I got the gift deed from my sister for 10000$ and I submitted letter in plain paper (gift deed letter) , bank cheque, transaction receipt, my bank statement and bank certificate. My application was approved in 2 months.

did you sent an email to them or do they send email to all of us. I sent my passport on June 14 and it was delivered to CPC Ottawa on June 18. I called IRCC yesterday and I was told that they received my passport on June 28 and now it is in queue for print. I don't know how long it might take.
