Yeah CEC inlands take quite longer. :(

Quick question for a friend preparing their EE profile. If individual applies under NOC xxxx but only have about 8 months experience in that NOC. And they have another 6 months experience under a different NOC xxx. Can they still apply under CEC class or do you have to gain a full yr experience...

Lol sorry it is Express entry (EE). and I applied under Canadian Experience Class. :P

And now the waiting game begins... :-X

Same boat I applied for a TRV on Dec 2016 after receiving a Visitors record in Dec 12th 2016. Nothing yet no change on the status whatsoever. Cringe! :-[
