Will we have RO obligation issues?

So if I renounce my U.S. PR voluntarily on coming back to Canada would it have similar impact on my PR renewal application as it would on citizenship application? If not, I can wait several years to apply for citizenship in order to sufficiently prove my intent to reside in Canada.

Will we have RO obligation issues?

Thanks for the reply. By "problems" I meant being denied PR renewal even if meet the R.O. even though by only a few months (say 3 more months than required), like this person claims: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/pr-card-renewal-interview-letter.520598/...

However, my wife had to move back to U.S. in June 2018 (after a month and a half of living in Canada as a...

Affect of U.S. greencard refusal on citizenship application

God bless you. You have no idea how much stress I have been in over this. In general what are the reasons other than the residency obligations that one might be denied a Canadian PR renewal or citizenship? Thanks in advance!

Affect of U.S. greencard refusal on citizenship application

I am curious if a U.S. greencard refusal (non-criminal reasons) for a Canadian PR individual would have any affect on their Canadian citizenship application when they meet all the residency obligation?

Canadian PR living in U.S. for an year and visiting Canada often

After getting Canadian PR, my spouse and I decided to pursue a U.S. green card due to Canadian currency taking a dip and the tariff fight. My spouse has to move ahead of me to the U.S. to start a job. Since, the U.S. green card is not guaranteed, we would like to keep out PR status. I will be...

U.S. citizen traveling to U.S. after landing

Hope someone senior can help me out with the following question: 1. Can a U.S. citizen travel to U.S. and come back by plane after landing and before PR card comes in the mail? 2. If asked the purpose of travel (U.S. to Canada) by airline staff, is it OK to say that I am a PR but don't have...
