that has nothing to do with your file, they consider you according to the date when you initially submitted your application not now. RELAX

they wont close the case, your visas for you and your wife will be reissued no matter what. even if expired, they can extend your medical by one year. in my case im the dependent and i was added to my husband's application after he got the visa and before he landed (Warsaw VO). we are still...

Congrats.. you can btw land, submit papers for your SIN, PR Card etc.. than come back to lebanon. if you have anyone in canada, where you can give the address so they can send you the PR Card. (at least this is for federal applications) but also check it if it also applies to QSW. in this way...

not necessary lemans.. CIC can now extend your medical directly as long as it is in the 15 months frame. some pple get request to redo it and others they get extension directly like my husband's.

i did already my VO is Warsaw. but their reply was irrelevant to the question, they just informed me that background check is ongoing.

for me, medical submitted end of june. our ecas turned from DM to in Process end of September (since i was added to my husband app). and the ecas is not working since end of december.

you are correct, except it was working 2 months ago, and suddenly it stopped. it happened before and worked again. in my case, cic replied to my query and according to them our file is in process. so i still think that has nothing to do with retrieving the files though i think they are updating...
