Hi cant remember if someone asked this before but can I call CIC on behalf of my hubby who I`m sponsoring or does he have to call himself? I never got any communication from them as a sponsor in terms of any tracking number etc. He is the only one with an applicant number and he is at work...

So dont get it. No jump with the dates. Still working on January 15th.

Congrats Serendipty...I can only imagine the joy you are feeling right now :) I thought the early part of waiting was the worst but I was wrong. It's these last few weeks that are the worst. Angtao and Canadagirl...waiting on our turn eh?

I think it means they wanna interview you and/or your spouse for further clarification re: your relationship etc.

Thanks for responding Serendipity. He already was denied that refugee claim way back in January so I wouldnt think the new work permit extension would have anything to do with that...but maybe your right as we are nowhere close getting first stage approval. CIC can be soo confusing at times.

I have had that experience as well where things happen faster than what the cic website states. According to website..my hubby`s application for work permit renewal wasnt even being looked at yet..and still we received it in the mail few days after i checked website.
