    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

If you check the Topic about CPC Ottawa FSW(FSW 2014 - CPC OTTAWA - Visa Office - Let's Connect Here), there are many people who got the DM, but they get the PPR after some delay. So it looks like they might have changed something in the process, where the PPR is sent out a bit later. I hope you...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

Hi, This might not be an appropriate topic to ask this question because its only the PEQ-CSQ applicants here. When applying through PEQ, there is no requirement for out of Quebec experience, so applicants don't have to go through the process of getting any documents that you mentioned. You...

    RCMP Criminal Background Check Question

I got mine done from Canadian Corps of Commissionaires, Montreal. Yeah I think it's fine, I've already sent it to CIC. That's right Marlee! It used to be called Landed Immigrants and some of the older forms not yet updated still use that.

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

Who told you the fee is $4500? The lawyers probably did. It's not $4500, its ~$900 for principal+spouse: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/students/stay-quebec/application-csq/students-peq/fees-payment.html Just be careful the lawyers don't delay it too much and you...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

Yes, I had my salary increased. I think almost everyone has their salary increased in a year, if not a raise then at least to cover inflation there is always some kind of salary increase. I never reported any such increase to Service Canada and I got my PEQ CSQ without any issues last year...

    RCMP Criminal Background Check Question

Hi Guys, It would be great if someone can answer my question. I've applied for PR under the Quebec Skilled Worker program last year. CIC requested for RCMP Criminal Background check last week. I went to Canadian Corps of Commissionaires, a private firm which takes fingerprints, forwards them to...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

Yes, like I said, they are separate programs FSW and QSW and shouldn't be compared. But I don't know where does the RCMP documents request comes into the timeline of QSW process. Not sure if they give priority to FSW over other programs. Maybe how they go about verifying and validating FSW apps...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

I mentioned my timeline, applied Federal in November 2014, got AOR/Medical in March 2015 and now the RCMP request last week in June. How the trend is going with the normal QSW in-Canada apps, I was expecting it to complete by October this year, but now with this RCMP request, I'm not sure about...

    QSW - Montreal Landing Experience

Hi, First of all Congratulations! Thanks for writing this up! I had a question, it appears from your post that you told both the Federal and Quebec officials that you're just doing the landing formalities and that you will permanently move sometime later, is that correct? That did not cause any...

Hi Guys, Just received request for RCMP Criminal Record check. I live in Montreal and checked with my local SPVM Police Station but they told me they don't do that and referred me to SPVM Background Checks on St- Urbaine: http://www.spvm.qc.ca/en/Fiches/Details/Background-Checks But on their...

Any PGWP holders successfully extend work permit without ITA?

That four years is a limit for any kind of Work Permit, also there are exceptions to this rule as well. But your PGWP has a maximum limit of 3 years and can't be extended further.

Any PGWP holders successfully extend work permit without ITA?

You can call CIC to confirm, but PGWP is only issued for 3 years. You can't extend it beyond that time. You either have to get a BOWP if you have a PR application in progress, an LMIA/LMO closed Work Permit, or if you're in Quebec and you have a CSQ, you can apply for an LMIA exempt closed Work...

    QUEBEC PEQ LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE!!

Hi, Not sure if they changed anything in the rules recently, but I exactly did that for TEFAQ, sent two test results to them. When I first gave the TEFAQ, I scored fine on the speaking section but got a B1 on the listening section, then I later on gave only the listening section and scored B2...

in canada (Quebec) on work permit, want to become resident...

Hi, Not sure what you mean by POS. But basically to get Permanent Resident in Quebec, its a two step process, you need a CSQ first from Quebec, then after getting the CSQ you have to apply for the Permanent Residence to Canadian Immigration. There are two main streams of CSQ: 1. Regular CSQ...

LMIA Exempt Work Permit for CSQ holders in Quebec

Hi, A little background: I am employed on my Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) which I got after my Masters in Engineering degree, but it is expiring in a few months. I wanted to get Permanent Residence, but since I'm in Quebec I had to get a CSQ First. So I got the CSQ and applied for PR to CIC...

Permanent residence app - Medical Inadmissibility - Insurance query

There are private insurance plans in Canada, completely separate from Provincial. For example international students are not eligible for the provincial medical insurance and they must get private insurance (usually arranged by the university). Look for Blue Cross or Great West Life, some of...
