No. I’m still waiting. I could be wrong but activity on this thread seems to have decreased somewhat in recent weeks, after a lot of the regular posters seemed to get their passports back/approval/return tracker activated. I find it so strange that we’ve then not seen any “passport copy” cases...

Yes I am inland. But I also never had to send my passport, only a passport copy. It seems as though passport copies have been pushed to the back of the queue.

Really!! that is incredibly frustrating. I understand completing landing formalities would be difficult in-person right now, but can't that be done via the phone? Just because it is an inland application and/or only a passport copy shouldn't mean it isn't processed.

I called about 2 weeks back and got a very generic, "Yes we have your paperwork here, it will be processed once we get to it"

No I haven’t. Got PPR March 9, passport copy received in Ottawa March 12. Started to get super frustrated when passports received April 27 are getting approved!!

If you look on immitracker, not one person who submitted a passport copy has had theirs returned or application approved. My feeling is they’ve prioritised the passports first.

Yeh it’s not an ideal situation for anyone but I definitely felt for the people who had to send their physical passport. Not having that for 2 months would be frustrating/nerve wracking

Is everyone who’s been approved so far from countries that required them to send their actual passports? Being Australian, they only requested a photocopy of the information page on my passport for my PPR. Wondering if they are possibly prioritising getting the ones done where the actual...

same. mine was received March 12th, FSW Inland.

seems that way - I haven't kept track whether they've all been outland or not. Hopefully they're processing Inland applications too - don't see why there should be a separate policy.

I'm FSW-Inland and I sent photocopy of passport (Australians don't need to send actual passport) on March 9, received March 12 - but since then, no update.

mine was received March 12, but no update as yet. using the myimmitracker website it seems that no one who's was received to the Ottawa office after March 12th has had any further update yet. I would guess they've pulled a lot of staff from that department.

Thanks for the reply. Yes that is what I figured so I've already stopped working. It is inside 90 days so I hope that I am able to get a Restoration of Status approved.
