My application also reached May 9, 2014 at 12.39 PM.. Maybe they have started encashing DDs, as DD confirmation is not instant, so we haven't seen any news yet on forum..I'm praying.. :)

I also called up my bank to know my DD status..He asked me to hold for few seconds to check whether it is encashed or not..It is not encashed yet..My DD is from ICICI Bank, India.. I wonder why some bank need 10-15 days to know the status!!! Can anyone experienced on this forum tell us DD...

Thanks for your suggestion Oscar..Actually, my DD is valid for three months hence only 2 more weeks left in its validity.. I want to know their advice as what should I do in such situation..

HI..Which bank is your DD from? Have you written an email to cic and explain your situation?
