I applied within 6 months. I applied one month after arrival but the phone call centre tells me they are not sure if I had active status.

Im trying to figure out why Im told my they arnt sure what my status was when I applied. I arrived by pane with an eta and passed through customs but received no stamp. I applied one month later so I did have Active Visitor status. I did have active status when I applied but dont have any proof.

You need to appyl via mail. Could you help us though with your OWP info? Did you apply as a visitor and did you fly into the country?

yep thats the same situation as me. Without a visitor stamp on entry they don't seem to be approving the OWP.

No. Ive been flying into Canada on and off for 2.5 years and never had a stamp. Its all electronic at the airport these days.

But it also doesnt make sense why this happened to just my application while others get their work permit without an issue. Thats why I was wondering if you provided proof of status..

No. I rang to enquire 10 days ago and they said the officer made a note on the file, stating I would need to wait for AIP. The IRCC call centre suggested I write a Case Enquiry stating I was in the country with valid status. I flew into the country and these days they don't stamp your passport...
