I also agree with bestofluck here. Anything that falls under the category of change of status must be communicated to OINP. They will run checks and if they find information doesn't match, then they can just as easily decide to return your application. So don't give them a reason to do. Email...

Honestly, no idea. They haven't been transparent whatsoever in their methods and stages. We have all received correspondence from them that doesn't match except the very generic email about files haven't been processed. This is why I find it difficult to expect anything, but keeping my chin up...

honestly, the calling seems so random. I am a December applicant and I got a call over a month ago. I can't speculate much on what criteria they are considering or methods they are using to contact people. But, the hope is that it's all for a good reason, if anything :)

Hi there, I got my PGWP extended because it was given to me for only two years since my Passport was expiring in July as well. I got a new passport earlier on and submitted a paper application for an extension to grant me the remainder of the 3yrs. I haven't taken the LMIA route.

Hey, it expired at the end of July. I had just gotten my extension at the end of July as well, but I got a call in August asking if I am still living and working here legally. So for now, I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I just hope I get some good news before my Express entry profile...
