    If they requested for RCMP fingerprints and everything is cleared, I believe they should be working on your criminal check. It took me more than one year to get MR. Prearrival letter also means you have passed their eligibility requirements too. Their system is not regular.

    Change of ownership

    Just for clarification, when you say "owner", do you mean "employer"? I do not think a change in employment should affect your PR application unless it is employer-sponsored.

    Did you send the RCMP report via email or mail? You may have to wait for 10 days to see a change. Or, better still, give them a call to confirm receipt because sometime they may not send you message confirming receipt.

    Once your IELTS is valid at the time of submission/application, it should be fine. However, I will advise that you leave considerable time between submission and expiration to cover for delivery time.

    I actually depends on the stream... It could be eligibility if you applied through FSW or CEC, but under PNP (based on education in Canada, it is security especially if they see anything in your application needs further verification.

    I think the best thing to do is to write to them explaining the full situation of things to them. But from what I know, your dependents will have to do their medicals, even if they are not coming with you.

    My advice is that if they asked for a document or something that you can produce or provide, why not do it? It will not hurt. I remember 5 years ago when I applied for study permit, I did upfront medicals then but they requested for medicals 2 months later. I did as they requested and rest is...
