They received my application on Nov 8, 2010. I believe me that I need my work permit, I need to work...

Sophie can you tell us when did you send your papers and when they started to work in you application?

I was expecting them to advance at least 7 days... but they didn't. In moments like this it's hard to have hope and be positive. But, let's keep in mind that we in the same boat and we can support each other.

One question LY, how do you check the work permit status?

mmm... I think that it is going to depend on how CIC update the website. Because they usually are 10 days more advance than they say in the website. Therefore, if they say they are working on applications received on July 6, you should totally call them. I pray every day for all of us... Cheers

Good morning everybody, I have a question. Usually I have been checking the status of my papers thru E-CAS but it is really frustrating to find the "in process" all the time. Do you think it worth to call from time to time, instead of using the e-cas?
