If I went to Quebec to get married or my boyfriend came to my country to do that... would it be ok just to go there on a tourist visa or would any of us need something special...? A while ago I read somewhere about some marriage visa... what's up with that?

My medics are done. Do you think it will be a problem because we'll get married AFTER my medics and the fact my last name will have an additional last name (mine and his). Should I even take his last name? cleo, what is the difference? I'm really curious :)

We'll do it in Slovenia, but that's gonna happen next fall. We'll apply outside Canada, so medicals are gonna be done in my country, and as for immigration process, after he's accepted as a sponsor, our papers will be sent to Quebec immigration and to Vienna. Been studying this stuff you know...

After a good quality talk we decided to get married next year. I'm going to stay here for a few more months, save money and let canadian winter go away, then go there as a tourist and do it. I couldn't be happier! And thank you for all your advice, lovely people.
