Morning Lab, I am expecting to get further info soon too. But i didnt call CIC anymore, I checked some other's posts. Someone said it took another week after CIC getting the additional info before AIP. So dont be upset Lab, let's hope we could get AIP soon, in one week, two week,... who knows...

Hi Lab and Laura, My ecas updated this morning, it showed my additional files was received on this Monday. So Laura, you just need wait a while. Dont worry. I didnt do FOSS and find MP. Wait for Lab's AIP soon!

Thanks guys to give me suggestion, Got it, i will apply for visa extend in Nov again. (The applied 2 years before, they issued one year visa to me) I wont do medical examination untill CIC ask later.

Hi All, I am still waiting for my AIP, first step. And my visa will be expired by the end of this year. I have no idea that whether could i get any news from CIC, even i applied PR last July. Soon should i apply for visa extend or OWP too. Btw, my medical examination will be expired by the end...

Hi Chinda, 'If applicable' means that if u also applied the PR for ur family, then need all the background checks too, if no, then u neednt worry anything. And if the CIC asked u give them more documents, then u give, if not, then just wait for the step 2 result.

Yea, I wont do any further action, like FOSS or MP. And to see what will happen in next month. If i also get news, then u really can just wait with bright expectation, otherwise we have to 'fight' the right too as what Lab did, haha. Have a good weekend Laura and Lab. And me too. :-)

Hi Lab, Since u said that probably the agent helped too, so i called cic this afternoon, and i got a very very bad answer, the agent said, there are two choice, one is to wait another two weeks, and if there is still no update in ecas, then another choice is to resend additional files. Wow, it...

So far, i didnt go to find MP, let me wait another month to see the result. Anyway, Laura can wait for a while more, her additional info was sent later than mine. :-) And u really could leave a note to the MP to tell him/her ur news too.

One thing i concern, it is that whether because of ur MP effect on it or not? Did u get any reply from MP?

I read a post before, sounds one week later, the applicant got result after CIC updated the ecas. For sure, we will hear ur good news soon. I think ur all documts on the officer desk already. :-) And as Laura mentioned the experience before, you probably will get both steps finalized. Cheers

Yea, i will keep my status updated here too. I was required to offer additional info on May 28th, and it was received on 5th June there. So i have to wait another month by our own accounting. haha Now any of your news is our big news too.

Thx for your info about MP. Referring ur story, i feel so bad about that the cic asked more evidence, which is enough as my opinion. But their job is to doubt everyone. And most of the lucky case, the applicants are the int'l students. And i afraid they will ask me to send more evidence too...
