    I completely hear you. I'm from Vancouver too. It seems our office is slow. I passed my test on April 22, decision made July 8 and still waiting. I called them too, and they kept telling me the same. We have a separate thread for Vancouver applicants here...

    Our time is similar. Quite a few other people's oath have been cancelled recently. I think the Vancouver office is trying to rectify this. Apart from that, I think summer is also the reason for the slow down, due to people taking vacation, etc. To be honest, I'm worried too.

    Sorry I wasn't clear. Yes that is the website. Did you click on Vancouver? In the drop-down box of "Find a citizenship ceremony by specific date", I can't find August 15 or August 22 though.

    New oath dates are updated on CIC website. There are two on Aug 14. All the weekend oaths are removed.

    I have two friends who took test in early July in Vancouver. They were told by the officer at the end of test that the wait time till oath is 3-5 months.

    I attended a friend's ceremony as a guest in Feb. I just told the lady at the door I'm a guest. She pointed me to the guest area, did not check my ID or ask whose guest I was.

    aria: did you take your test in the morning or afternoon of April 22? BTW I don't see CIC website list Aug 14 as an oath date. Maybe they forgot to list this day on their website?

    I checked this morning around 11am. The CIC website did get updated with new oath schedules for Vancouver office. I took note: 3 on July 24, 3 on July 28, one on July 30, 3 on Aug 4, 3 on Aug 7, one on Aug 8, two on Aug 11, and one on Aug 15. This is really true. I didn't make it up. I checked...
