It depends on a lot of points and each case is different.. Yes SPP and universities are given 1st preference coz of their timelines and restrictions n rules .. Unless the case is different. Given the present situation every other file is almost delayed..

Generally within a week max but if u go through this forum many threads claim that people are waiting for two weeks and plus now.

Hi, I have applied on the 13th April online under General category which is non SPP. Mine is a different case, got rejected the 1st time, got the CAIPs report and have re-applied but this time went through a Canadian Immigration Lawyer

Hola! Congratulations dear ur got ur Visa! :) Party time "))) .. It says approved and they are asking for ur passport (they only ask for PP to stamp) yeah may be coz of the rush they typed or pasted the wrong message asking for ur PP.. Contact ur agent and ask him what he does in this case and...

GIC is a manadate for SPP.. Not a requirement for Universities but yes an added advantage if u have it especially for applicants under General category Applying for Colleges. Just showing them that we are more secured with our stay and expenses apart from showing Bank balances, etc,.
