Hi Mary! What I did was provide a letter coming from my relatives and attached copies of their passport and citizenship card/ID. You can also write in your letter their job titles and where they work. Can you show sample links of the CIC issues you mentioned?

Hello! It took me around 7 weeks all in all. My theory here is they waited for my OLD TRV which is in my OLD passport to expire before they give me a new one. My old TRV expires this week. Either that or the system being downfew weeks ago had this kind of delaying effect in the expected turn...

In my humble opinion, there there might be problems. As a student, your main purpose is to STUDY. Once you defer, you take away that activity. Also, I think you have to submit your grades (or the DLI submits it to CIC) as proof of being a legitimate student. :)

Yup. Would definitely drop by tomorrow... my main concerns now are the parking and waiting time to finish the process. I mean, is the line long? Can I bring my wife with me so she'll be familiar with the place when it's her turn? Can I bring food inside? I hope those who have experienced this...
