Sorry to pump this thread up again :). It's really sad especially for Int students that came to Canada with the promise of the Conservative Government. I think this group should be considered under the old immigration law - old CEC stream. Anyway, Int students are not welcoming to Canada any...
His words are accurate, I just booked my IELTS last week and it was on April at least. So more than 1 month waiting in Toronto. IELTS is making good money within EE.
My English is not my mother tongue either. In the end, IELTS is a for profit organization, and they need to make money (as much as they can).
Also, for CIC side, IMO there are no correlation between a good immigrant vs their English ability.
Thumbs up for a great imagination haha...In my case, I'd make it easier by giving out NOIs to forks that need 600 rather than who don't need this valuable point, after that spread out NOIs to top priority NOC categories, and finish my job.
