You dont need any attorney to apply gcms , you can do it on your own also raising a webform asking status of application is more riskier than ordering gcms because i have personally experienced this as officer sometimes hurry up decision with webform query

Your funds are good to support your application and also if you are a full time worker then funds should not be an issue but if your spouse already hold visitor visa then you should apply inland once he reaches canada

You said file was applied in April so i thought it was a reapply bcoz biometric were closed in April 1st time everyone is refused specially with dependent child cases so not a big deal apply again with gcms . How much funds have you shown??
