if u r on student visa, ur spouse is eligible to apply for open work permit..this will help if she intends to work there..validity of work permit will be same as ur study visa. If on multiple entry visa,she can stay with u for 6 months at a strech n then need to return back to home country. Also...

Have u sent official copy of documents as mentioned by memorial? If yes, then status will be updated once the docs r processed..if docs sent after deadline it might take sometime. U can always shoot mail to memorial for further details.

@keith It depends on the course that u are planning to apply. As per what i read till now on university websites is that a research based prog needs a potential supervisor.Course based or industrial based prog does not need a supervisor.
