Once the file is transferred they send the principal applicant an email to inform which visa office the file has been transferred to. If you have not received an email, you can go to a MP office and ask them to go through your file and let you know where your file is.

As far as I know it means you've been approved to immigrate, you will see "decision made" under applicant's section on ECAS very soon. The next step is asking you to send your passport for getting visa.

Hey, yes it's normal, it took almost a month for a friend of mine.

It took 13 days for me to receive AOR2 after being transferred to Ankara Visa Office.

I did the exact same thing as you wanna do, there would be no problem at all.

Anyone knows what makes an application to be moved to Mississauga? It's so annoying to see how fast CPC-mississauga proceeds while almost all other VOs do nothing. :'( I wish ours have been also moved there!
