September 2011 - Here we go!

I just read from the other threads, the appearance of the sponsor's address in ecas is a GOOD SIGN! :-) That means that the VO has already received our application and is working on it. And even better news? Most of them got ppr within a month or two from that happening. God is working overtime...

September 2011 - Here we go!

I checked our ecas today, and I was surprised to see my wife's (sponsor) address on top. Applicant's status is still 'Application Received' and not 'In Process'. But still nice to see something changing in ecas after 3 weeks of no activity. Is this a sign of a nice Christmas gift coming our...

Has everyone gotten their snail mail or email about the sponsorship approval already? We got our eCAS approval November 7, and it's 3 weeks later and still no snail mail or email about it. eCAS still says decision made for the sponsor, and application received for the applicant and nothing else...

Hi kannadiga, I am applying outland from Manila. Used to be 4-6 months for PR, now it stretched out to 10 months!! :-[ I am praying it would be fast, as I submitted everything needed, I doubt they would ask anything more than my passport and Appendix C from me upon PPR. Thanks for adding me to...

August 2011 Manila Visa Office (Manila August Applicants let's chat)

My wife and I were married in Canada this year during my short visit so we have a marriage certificate from Alberta. So nung nag-apply ako ng cenomar sa NSO, I got a cenomar and not an AOM since our Canadian marriage is not yet registered with NSO. Hmmm magiging problema kaya ito? :o

SPOUSE VISA TIMELINES AND ONLINE UPDATES ~MANILA OFFICE~ BATCH DECEMBER ONWARDS

thank you po sa lahat ng response.... I don't know what the 'Option C' is. But I am skeptical about including the COE, I believe kasi in harm with giving too much information, and I didn't see the COE as a requirement, naassume lang namin kasi sa financial proof. And yup, her SIN does not start...

Just curious, what would happen if she just waits out the sponsor approval part, and then heads home to wait out the PR approval part? Would that be the same thing?

Wife going home before sponsor approval... please help!

She is a PR... I was afraid of that answer... She has been having difficulty dealing with the relatives she has been living with, and we were thinking if it was possible for her to wait out the PR approval for myself back home in the Philippines... Oh well... :'(
