Ankara Visa Office Applicants Check in here! :)

It's brutal to do this to us :( We all want to be reunited with our loved ones as soon as possible but here we are, not knowing what's going on... There was a petition posted somewhere here on the forum, but not sure if it's going to help much. Contacting MP for status update and ordering GCMS...

Most of us have the same things that you described. As far as I know, 0 means good, and I have 0s in those places as well. Personal information has just basic details of you like occupation etc. As for your last note, I have exact same note but dated December 29th. As per my notes, that's when...

Ankara Visa Office Applicants Check in here! :)

Yes, but there was nobody through Ankara :( it was mostly Warsaw since Russian citizens usually do it through Warsaw, but I was hoping maybe someone did it through Ankara (if they're Azerbaijani but living in Russia). Tried to find anything on Azerbaijani forum, but it was only about studying in...

It's extremely frustrating that they don't even provide approximate dates and don't reveal anything about security check :( Already 3 months and 5 days after the interview and still no news...

Yes, on 1st page of GCMS notes under Primary Office and on 2nd page under Paper File > Office: Hmm interesting, maybe her husband was born or working in Rome? (and then lived in Iran)

It's great that at least some families are getting reunited but the way the office works is discriminative. I haven't seen my husband for almost a year (my trip was cancelled in December) and our anniversary is coming up, it's just unbearable :( :( :( NGB Congratulations, you're almost done!

I don't want it to sound like a discrimination but honestly wives in Canada need their husbands' support more than husbands in Canada from their wives if you know what I mean :(

Ankara Visa Office Applicants Check in here! :)

Processing time is not a deadline, it's an approximate time for your country to process it. Which means it might take longer than 9 months :( We all already know that the stage that extends everything is Security because Ankara involves our native countries to get confirmation and more...

As I was told, they asked her only about their relationship, how they met, their relatives and photos, which is all part of eligibility assessment)

Seems like the passport must be valid for at least one year and they sent this request to you to remind you to renew your passport and send them a new copy. But it's just my guess by looking at what they wrote to you. My husband's passport was to expire in July 2017 and he just renewed it and...

They are not Persians. She received an interview invitation a month prior to her interview date, her interview was very short and they stamped her visa:)

Ankara Visa Office Applicants Check in here! :)

I doubt it, she was asked questions about their relationship and relatives, so it was part of eligibility. So seems like eligibility was the last thing they had to wrap up, weird because it's usually the very 1st thing on their list. Stage process might differ sometimes I guess. I've never heard...

Remember I said my friend's wife got visa the same way? They were waiting for around 11 months, and right before her medicals were about to expire, Ankara called her for an interview. Interview was very short and at the end they stamped her visa. BUT it's very individual, I wouldn't compare my...

No news today...but our time will come for sure! I'm praying and checking my e-mail every day! Yes, patience is golden but sometimes it's just emotionally hard... It's been almost 3 months since my husband's interview, there must be something this week! Lets pray our husbands will arrive this...

Agreed! It seems way faster for wives... However, I could see why, men tend to have military experience, and for some reason VO pays more attention to their criminality/security more than to women which is totally unfair and discriminative :(

Hey, So when you called Ankara, someone actually picked up the phone?)) they told you they're busy and didn't even try to answer your question? Not sure about myCIC because I don't use it, but people say you should try a few times and then eventually it will link:) Hopefully all of us will...
