I sent them an email on July 16 to know about the status of OINP app. Just got Pre-AOR email stating the application has been reviewed and accepted. A big sigh of relief. :) App Sent -17 Feb App Receieved- 21 Feb Pre Aor email-18 July Nom--------???? ???

I think you are safe as the candidate whose passport pages were missing, her app was sent by oinp on 24 June and she got it on 2 July. Hope for the best.

When did your application reached OINP office?

I have applied with this passport only. What problem I encountered was that I haven't enclosed letter of explanation stating my condition why the passport cannot be renewed. I am bit worried about it. However, now I have mailed as well as faxed them the letter. Hope it will suffice.

Its an issue with Indian passports, it cannot be renewed before 1 yr.
