I didn't understand your logic. If you are going to Canada after receiving visa and CoPR, why not just go there with it and activate your PR and at the same time do whatever you have work there and return back to USA few days later?

They do check their mailbox regularly. So it should be a couple of days utmost before they pick your mail. So don't worry.

CIC-Sydney doesn't do employment verification at this stage. They just calculate the points and check your points eligibility. Your designated VO may do the employment verification at a later stage after you receive your PER.

Don't worry. It's quite normal. It's the duty of immigration officer to fill our PR card application on your behalf. You will get your PR card in your designated address within next 45 days.

You can continue working as such because you have already applied to renew it.

Your relative now has to apply again under EE. Not much can be done at this stage. The fault was from WES and not from the CIC-Sydney. Good luck!!!
