Hi All, 2 days after medical passed i got a request letter in profile for my daughter's Biometric. They mentioned at this time only pay fees and attach payment receipt in the profile and then they will send instruction letter to get biometric for my daughter. my question - can one get this...

Up to 40 days for Medical and Biometric is normal ( though some gets within 7-10 days). If it crosses 40 days without update on medical and BIL, then it make sense to check by calling IRCC.

Update: ITA - Feb 13, 2021 File submitted and AOR - May 10th Medical Passed - June 16th Biometric details updated - 16th June (had bio done as part of work permit application)

yeah buddy wait , you should get updates within next 4-5 days. I am saying this because my AOR was 10th May and today only got medical pass update in profile (no email, directly checked in IRCC profile). so sit tight, hopefully you get medical update in next few days.

What happened to your medical ? Did you get any email wrt medical ?

There are many still waiting for medical result updates with AOR between 01 May and 10th May, looks like it’s lottery when they pick file and update .

Go ahead and create profile , you are fine , even if draw happens before you complete 1 year you should not have any issue ( but just submit application after you complete 1 year). Having said that, I highly doubt another CEC draw in next 8 days.

Hmm, I would not conclude that , you have to be in a specific NOC and within a certain range . Why do think you need a job offer ? Unless , your score is not reaching within that threshold ?

Yeah, I think above post misunderstood you, anybody on H1B or any non-immigrant visa would try for Canada but not true for GC holders and Citizens of the USA. Very few would move from states to canada having GC or citizen of the USA .

Very Good for folks who are in the USA and are in pool but not sure how this would help FSW candidates as they don’t differentiate if person is from the USA or any other country . Having said that, this would definitely help people( in the USA) who already got ITA and waiting for their COPR...
