No, the election does not affect IRCC operations or work for any federal body.

6 months is not a guarantee. There is a ton of Dec-Mar people without PPR. The elections do not affect IRCC work.

Yes, there are a few people, but none of them had VO Ottawa as CPC. Most FSW-O cases are in Ottawa. May PPR has been very slow. If IRCC continues to be as slow as lately, most FSW-O will get PPR not earlier than November. I'm aiming December.

Ottawa Case Processing Centre applicants - Lets connect here.

None of them are FSW-O with VO Ottawa as far as I can see. CEC/PNP and FSW-O with regional offices are lucky tho.

Has anyone from outside Canada been successful in calling IRCC today? They disconnect after 1-1-1 steps. Been trying all day to reach them.

This sucks so much. FSW-O applicants are getting the worst treatment.

At the same stage as most people here. They will check your eligibility and security. It could take from a week to many months from today. Just don't be too optimistic as there are so many Jan-Feb people without PPR. IRCC is quite slow this year. 6 months wait is not normal anymore, but 6-8...

Some people get PPR in 2-3 months, others in 6-8. If there is no RR/SS in your file and you are lucky enough, you should get it before the 6 month mark.

The student visa theory cannot be real as August was okay in 2017/18. This whole year is just one big disappointment. They need more staff.

No, we all got it since the date of aor.

    >>>>>>>>April 2019 AoR<<<<<< Join here

The whole process has been very slow this year, just look at winter groups. Total amount to wait is 6-8 months for a considerable number of applicants. However, as the number of applicants have been decreasing (especially in April-June), it is possible to speculate that speed will go up in...

Yeah at this point getting PPR in less than 6 months is just great.

Number of PPRs received by month of submission by myimmitracker: Jan: 59% Feb: 49% Mar: 40% Apr: 31% May: 14% June: 3% It looks like March and April are not faster. The numbers are tough tho.

EE Profile - Previous/Valid Temporary Resident Visa (Visitor)

Did you go to Canada before for education/work or just as a tourist? I think this should matter in the process, but we need folks with PPR to confirm to some degree.

Yes, 40 minutes after the email with medicals passed. But background check did not change, so I guess it is not that important.

AOR: June 9 Medicals Passed: July 16 Biometrics Passed: July 19. No changes since then. False IP2 since June. I guess we'll have to monitor how April/May folks will be successful in August to be able to forecast our chances to get PPR before the 6 month deadline. According to myimmitracker...
