He actually sent an official letter to NDVO asking to speed up the process and there we go today we got PPR! When is your spouse going to submit the passport? I wonder how long it takes for Afghan applicants to get passport back

Thanks Naj. It really HAS been a very frustrating process thus far. I've been in contact with my MP and he sent a letter to NDVO via snail-mail...so hopefully they take some action. According to my notes, the visa is even ready to be printed but still no PPR, which is ridiculous!

Does anyone here have any experience calling NDVO? Do they help at all? My ecas has been DM for the past 1.5 months and no PPR yet. I wonder if they'll be able to give me any information

That makes no sense whatsoever. Why would they send you remeds if they were gonna reject it after all. Do you think they sent PPR but you never got it? Did they tell you the reason behind the rejection?

You should get in contact with your MP. It has happened before that they sent email but the PA never got it.

What does it say on your ecas?Maybe you should check with the physician where your husband did his meds to make sure he/she sent them to CIC

We haven't gotten the PPR letter yet so I don't think calling Islamabad will be of any use. I did send an email to NDVO saying it has been more than a month since DM and according to notes visa is ready to be printed, but no answer. Hopefully I hear back from the MP office tomorrow. BTW there...

That's awesome! Thanks for sharing.., I really hope we get PPR soon! I guess they just like to take their time with Afghan cases, which is kind of unfair. I think if there was an embassy in Afghanistan it would've been so much easier -_-
