I did call Canada post (pure curiosity re their process :-)) The agent said that there is no major delay/hold time to send such incorrectly addressed regular mail back to sender. He said probably 5-6 biz days each way. So, technically 3 weeks should be sufficient time for a incorrectly...

I feel your pain! Anyone tried to call Canada Post customer service - to find out what their process would be in this scenario (like yours or mine)? I.e. do they send back to sender right away or keep it somewhere for some time etc? Thinking about calling and asking - not to find our card but...

Let us know if you hear back from them. Did the address on your profile change? For me it changed the next day after I called them to get it corrected (so there is at least one day delay even with the agent)

Unfortunately no :-( I called them but they said to wait 6 weeks since mailing time and call them again. I will probably try to call in a week just to try to see if by some miracle it turned out but I am not holding my hopes up... Not sure if I should also fill out a web inquiry just so there...

This is what I am cautiously hoping for - that it comes back to them and they resend to the corrected address. I called IRCC yesterday (40 min on hold!) and at least they corrected the address on the profile. They said that for now they are not able to do anything - they only take action after...
