Hi..my father transferred me some money through online transfer (NEFT) from his account to mine. The transaction details are visible in the bank statement as well. I am planning to make a gift deed and show it as proof of funds. Will there be any issue for this? Is cheque deposit compulsory?

This mail thing won't work. You need to raise a request through your onecognizant portal, under letters tab. After that, this will need to be approved by your supervisor. Then letter will be generated.

Which e-letters app are you talking about? My supervisor also says that he is not able to find any mails for approval. Where exactly should I ask him to check? Please let me know.
