I actually meant that probability of getting PPR is much much higher than not (which should help with your positivity :)).

I would agree with this. A CIC agent specifically said to me (a few months ago) that mine was transferred due to workload sharing. [Unless, of course, one has reasons to believe agents would say that to avoid further inquiry about the application.]

    But it's not a fair coin. :)

I don't think this is accurate. Eligibility "under review" is different from further "review required." I think the agent is telling you that your eligibility is still being processed. I don't think CIC agents would want to alarm applicants by telling them that their application/eligibility is...

OK. Thanks! Might have asked similar questions above before seeing your post.

Do you have any sense of how long the transfer to ppr time is (on average) from observing past cases? Also, is it common for files to be transferred to Montreal relatively late (like 3 - 4 months)?

What is this theory based on? Not that I have any reason or data to falsify it, but I'm just wondering. If true, it might be worst case scenario for some of us whose file MAY have been transferred relatively late. I was told in Dec (my first time calling CIC) that my file was transferred to...

That's good to hear. Hope mine is a similar situation and what the agent told you applies.

Maybe we SEP AORs in Montreal should just touch the snooze button and forget about our applications until (say June? is that reasonable?). Called CIC today and I was told eligibility is in process. Here i thought it was at least recommended pass. The wait seems to get harder after 6 months...

Called CIC. I thought eligibility was "recommend passed" (base on information conveyed to me by a prior agent), but the current agent said that all they could see was that it is in process and nothing more. Do you think it's possible that two agents at different times could see different...

Does CIC actually organize, process, and make judgement on applications based on the month of the application, as we seem to organize ourselves in this forum? I mean, I would imagine that the group that you truly belong to would be people in your round of invitations (who have the same round...

Never ordered GCMS, so I don't know details either. RPRF requested and paid in Dec and eligibility, as per a conversation with IRCC agent in Jan, was "pending, but looks good," which I have interpreted as "recommend passed." I was in what people might refer to as IP2 here since MEP in October.

Do you know when your eligibility was met? Just curious if that coincided with the RPRF request.

I don't think anyone here can say how long it will take. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do except to wait. My application has been "recommended passed" since December (and is pending) and no further updates since then (so that's at least 2 months since the recommended pass by the...

What's your AOR? I don't know about the medical exam, so I can't comment (didn't you have to do medical before aor?). With regard to RPRF, I have been told that it is a good sign that your application is progressing, but can't say how soon you will receive PPR. I got RPRF in December and I am...
