Thank you .. and yes I think you should get the test letter by June .. and to be honest with you, fingerprint is not a delaying factor at all .. it takes only 30 days after they receive your fingerprint for a next step in the processing. Good luck to you too ^_^

This is weired .. I see Oath at Kingston at CIC website !?! I have never seen this before! As far as I know, Kingston applications go to Ottawa for processing, test and oath ceremony!

Anybody with experience knows how many months should a person expect to be scheduled the citizenship exam? My family application was received by CIC on Oct. 3rd 2013. Transfered to Ottawa office by March 11th 2014. Ottawa office is taking forever to schedule exam date for myself and my wife !!

For Oath that can be a reason .. but to schedule exam thats not reasonable at all :)

Ottawa office is one of the slowest accross the whole country .. Most of applications received by October and November 2013 are not yet scheduled Test/Exam date ! I'm not even considering those who received RQ .. I'm talking about straight forward applications with no issues at all !!

I don't think that is a rule .. I have a friend who is leaving Canada for about 14 days every year, sometimes twice a year .. and he (with his mom and brother) have residency in thet country they go to which is valid .. they didn't get RQ at all and their application was processed in 12 month...
