Can I check/ create ECAS while already having CIC account??? to get more exact status of my application or it’s the same thing?Anyone knows??? Thank you!

Phew!!! Hadn’t checked my account for a week and just had a sight on beautiful thing now;“Background check started” shows the status. July 27 th ,AOR,SA,Medical-Nov-21 Medical passed -Nov-26

Being 27 july applicant I got AOR,SA,medical request on Nov 21 and passed medical on 26th of november as I can see on my account. But the thing is our file hasn’t been moved to nowhere. Why?? And no updates can be seen on account. Is it normal guys???

Seems like they are working on Last july’s applications. Be assured that it’s gonna come very soon.

You should use principal applicant’s details If you have it.

For people getting problem linking their application as per my experience. I tried a few times and did it finally.Try this way; Application number and last name- Passport details- Intended province and city to live- Applicants no-2 Goes through easily...

Got it in mY wife’s(PA)email I thought it comes in my email so.I was able to link my app on CIC today though.Thank you Avani

July 27 2018 AOR- Nov-21 SA-Nov-21 Medical Request-Nov-21(thought comes on Sponsor’s email but came on Principal Applicant’s,just saw today). Linked my paper app on CIC account. It’s been few good days.Things are moving faster! Good luck to everyone!!Cheers!!

One question guys! I made a Cic account using my Wife’s (Principal A)email with sign in bank partner yesterday. Do I need to follow the same steps to log in or is there any way to get into it? Is GCKEY same as Cic account or what is it? Confused?

July 27 Applicant I was able to create an accout after failing to contact them several times today. It says we started processing your application on november 17 and will send Aor.How long does it take them to review one application package before I get an AOR??? Any ideas?
