You can see if the application is in process in the ECAS. We tried to link with both the accounts, but was not able to do so. I think i will wait for a couple of days before i attempt at linking the applications to my GCkey account.

Thank you - It is an application status portal where you can check application status. This is updated daily. https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=ecas But it is not detailed as linking your application to a GCkey account.

Is it normal to get CIC blank update on a sunday. I just got one.

For everyone who has got their work permit. I wanted to ask if your pgwp validity begins on the day of your approval or the expiry of your study permit. If it is expiry date of study permit, we will be losing like a few months don't we?

I applied on April 28th and I have got no response yet from CIC. Maybe since we sent in a case specific enquiry for the $100 form, our processing is taking a little bit longer. Although, I confirmed that the form has been received and is part of my file.
