How do you know they forgot to scan it? Is it still in Ottawa? I've read that sometimes it is in transit, but is not activated.

I'm not sure, but I do think they can check if they want to. Iven if they dont check, they may simply ask why is she planning to stay 6 months and who will be suppprting her. She will have to justify her stay then.

Buy 2 months tickets because the boarder officer may be suspicious. They will most likely give her a standard visa duration, not necessary 2 months. Also you can always extend her visa once she is in Canada and change the ticket

That's a general number for IRCC though. You can't call CPC Ottawa directly. If you have urgent case it's best to email them and attach all supporting documents. It worked for me.

Yes! I called Canada post and they said service delivery standard is 3-4days. But I just received another packaged shipped through xpress post from Ottawa. It was sent last Monday and I just received it yesterday so it took a week to arrive. That's why I'm worried

My tracking got activated, says processed in Ottawa at 18:35! What province do you live in? I'm up north so really worried that it won't arrive by Friday :(

You can but isn't it suspicious that you can take 60 days off work? That may be interpreted as weak ties. Unless you are in sabbatical

I also got a reply from CPC they gave me my tracking number saying that it takes up to 2 business days for the tracking number to actually register on the website. So although my passport was already dispatched, I still don't see tracking activated.

Just called CIC and they said my passport was dispatched today at 12pm :) so happy. Hopefully it will arrive on time.

My timeline: Applied online: September 22 Passport request: October 4 Passport sent: October 6 Passport received: approximately October 12-13 Application approved: 30th October Did not write down my tracking number so can only guess when the passport will arrive -_-

I think you can do that. Either you'd have to call them and ask to send passport abroad or ask someone from Canada to forward you the passport. Call them better and speak to an agent

D Did you call? I sent it on Oct 6th and my flight is Nov 4th and I will most likely have to reschedule.

This is strange! Everyone else got their passports back within 2 days of approval... I also emailed them yesterday morning and got no reply till now.

Yes just leave it blank because it will sign automatically when you submit it. The only form I had to sign and scan was use of representative.
