It happened with me. My passport was expired in January. I got an email on 2nd March asking for new copy of passport. I sent it immediately. Next day I got the medical request and on 8th March I got the email saying information provided is updated.

I got another email today from CPC Ottawa saying provided information (new passport copy) is updated in the system. Also Med was requested on 3rd March and done today. I guess it will take another week to reflect the same.

Guys, One question... I received an email from CIC today to update the copy of passport as my passport was expired in January 2016. I did revert with new copy of passport immediately. My question is , how much time generally it would take to receive the MR request?

Hi, I am sept 22 applicant. At the time of application, i did not have my spouse' PCC so i sent the package without it. AOR recieved on Feb 4th and i have obtained the PCC for spouse as well in month of March. I have seen in the threads that we can send the PCC to CIC before they ask for it but...

Yes. Yes dastanmo. My applications was recieved on 22nd September and CC got charged yesterday. If you check September 2014 tracker, that is the current status. Application recieved in 3rd week of September are getting charged the fee right now.

Thanks maniac2403. That is the only thing i am trying to avoid. I will defenitely be landing before my status gets expired but i am not sure about her. It all depends upon how soon i can get the job which would be a risky situation. I thought "not accompanying" means - i will still pay for her...
