I tried accessing my ecas with my receipt number and it worked for me as well. Although, there's no extra line added to my status.

August applicants have started receiving their MR. We are next in the line. No more need to hit the panic switch now.

Couple of my friends who applied in October 2014 dont even know how to apply for GCMS notes, have received their RPRF request as well. So i guess, it's a genuine update. Nothing to be worried about!!

I am not sure why there is so much confusion about this RPRF notification. We had to pay this landing fees no matter what so why not now after this email. Take it as a good sign.

I am a Sept applicant and my work permit is expiring by May this year. I should wait till May as well for applying the extension.

I am quite sure, we will see our files getting updated by the start of next month. We just need to be positive.

According to my last gcms notes that i have just received couple of days ago, the due date is actually feb 2, 2016. So, yea we should be getting something around February.

We were under the impression that they are going to do another mass update, but hey we are talking about cec here.
