He gave them lots of proof emails skype msn and lots of pics. We talk every day. I find that our processing time has been great it has only been 7 months and he got an interview. I just pray that everything is ok.

We met in Feb online and I married him in July. They asked him questions like where do I work, do we want kids, how long I have been muslim ect.... Have you heard of this happening to other people they have the interview and do not take the passport at the same time?

Please can anyone help me? My husband had his interview today and they did not keep his passport. They said he would hear from them in two weeks. Is this bad news? My heart feels broken and I am scared. I thought that they would have told him if he was approved right away and keep his passport...

I'm sorry, I know in Quebec they have an income chart. When I had called the help line for myself they had told me this, because the chart was part of my application. The best thing to do is read the manual and if you dont understand call the hotline. :)

Hi I really think you should find a job before you apply, they will say you have no means to support him at this time. Of course if you find a job you will need to stay here for awhile and work. What province are you from? Depending on that some require a min income.

A good job is a great start, if u want him to immigrate I would apply after he visits because if u apply after u have started it most likely be refused. my husband is egyptian i did not bother with the visit i just started my application for him to immigrate. come to Canada Immigration Forum...

It is very hard to get him here on visiting pass, unless he has ties that will bring him back home. Yes you can apply for him while you are in Egypt with him.

Hi fox ok thanks what did they ask you to bring? And did they keep your passport after your interview. Its great your still here because there have not been many people who have had an interview, they all seem to have been waived.
