Hey Julyers, CIC is almost done with June. Applicants from the first week of July should start hearing from CIC in a couple of days now :D

Between 07/01/2011 and 06/30/2012, 80% of the cases were processed in 9 months or less. The remaining 20% took longer than that.

By the way, my sponsorship application wasn't open yet, but I submitted some proofs of the sponsorship application with my daughter's tourist visa request.

In a few days when you call the 800 number it'll say that your app has been received on 07/17 and that your application has been forwarded to your VO on XX/XX. Then you'll know that you've been approved as sponsor ;D

It is auto reply once your file is opened. If they forward you to the agent, you can just hang up, because your application is not in the system yet.

Sorry, not this receipt. It's the other one that contains a photo of the applicant attached to it. The doctor should've gave it to your partner. I guess you should call CIC call centre and explain your situation.

The receipt is the requested form and it should had been included in your application. You can send it to them now as requested ;)
