Yes, I did, the agent was very nice, he said "they are working on your file, including the background" . I think that means they are working on security, but just didn't change the status online. I called them back in Nov too, they told me at that time only security left.

If they said so, then I think it should be fine. Probably just the officer on your case didn't change the status accordingly.

Oh boy, have you been checking your CIC online account all along? if so, that's very weird, normally after you got your AOR, the status of BG will be changed into IP, then changed into N/A after normally 3-6 months. Why don't you order a GCMS note to see if the background check has been done...

yeah, I think our batch took the longest time to get fn, others just waited for 2 month for fn.

a friend of mine just got MR, she is Dec 2016 applicant, I think that's a sign that cic is speeding up.
