You should have waited until you get your new passport to apply. CIC will not issue a PGWP in an expired passport or beyond the expiry date. They may issue the visa until March 2015, or may not at all. I am sorry but you will have to wait and see what they do.As for applying for another PGWP...

Well you can stay for the duration of your visa, but you need to work. i suggest you look for another employer, with an LMO in another area or look for another family to work for.Good luck

they will clearly see you are not a bona fide student and you are making a quick , easy , cheap attempt to get into Canada

Why not apply for a university? Do you not see the course mis-match? Your applications looks like a quick desperate attempt to get into Canada. I do not think you will get the visa and having the consultant is a waste of money as he /she is doing ''work'' that you can do yourself. Good luck anyway

When you apply for those cheap, quick courses at colleges in Canada, visa officers can clearly see your intensions. You do not plan to leave Canada at the end of your studies, you may not go to the college, as you just wanted to come into Canada, and based on your academic background, the course...

Meenum, you need to go read CIC website and educate yourself about the CORRECT ways to immigrate to Canada. I will not take Chidukmiduk response to heart. There is too much ignorance and mis information on this site.That is why some people get rejected for visas and permits.Good luck!

There is a thread already created for this. Anyway the processing time for most persons in 1 month. I applied on June 25th and got mine on July 20th. Did you check your tracking number tosee if it on its way? I am sure it will come soon. No you cannot check your status online

Creampop is right. Your girlfriend should leave Canada. if she tries to over stay her time, they might never let her come back to Canada. As a fellow british passport holder she needs to be careful as that passport is easily flagged, and can cause you some embarassment at immigration counters...
