I'm in the same boat as you. I got a response from Buffalo with a "F#" last wednesday and I filed in March too. I don't know where in the process I am, but I am grateful to have a file number and an application that's in process. Good Luck!

I never received this email, but my wife got an email approving her as my sponsor, with her client number. The email stated that my app was sent to buffalo for processing. Should I be expecting this type of email also or do we usually get the sponsor approval and applicant approval as well...

You should try google alerts also. Include all the keywords for the job you're searching for, along with the city you will be living in and 'jobs'. Google will email you any articles, news pages, postings and blog entries related to your criteria.

Question for anyone who has both a Sponsor Client Number and a File #: When you check ecas using both numbers, do you see the same info? Just want to know if it's worth emailing or calling Buffalo to request my file #. Thanks and Good Luck to all!
