Remember, I sent them addtl spouse family form later with covering letter but seems they haven't attached with my application. All - Suggestions please... if I should re-apply in 2147???

One of my friend got news from some consultant in Canada that CIC is preferring applications from ppl who applied through CIC authorized consultants in order of application dates. :( though some individuals may get CC/DD charged. Anyone who applied through consultants, can you pls get this...

It takes abt 7-10 days when foreign bank gets money from Indian bank which Is again disadvantage of DD coz until fund are clear, we cannot know anything I am going to escalate this on monday. Hope their should be some way to get DD status within bank.

:( this is ridiculous but i just did not used CC as it after entering details, it takes to bank website to put Security Password. so i preferred DD. Anyone else encountered this?

I went to my bank today to check DD encashed status..bank told they can't check until they are informed from novascotia which takes 1 month.. as DD was issued by this Indian bank to pay in canada through Nova scotia bank. Does someone know any way to get DD status checked? or did someone tried?

No. only Principle applicant/Spouse or dependant (over 18) bank account is considered. You can do fixed deposit from your fathers account in your name and that would work.

To my thought, CIC will publish CAP count list for only genuine completed applications received after doing initial checks. It dos'nt matter to them if 300 files received and 100 uncompleted applications.. so 200 will be genuine
