NDVO seems to be slower than most other offices. My application was received October 17 and still nothing really...

I feel hopeless with this process.

Friends, I know cases differ from one another but I am an October 17 applicant, do you think it's realistic for me to receive some kind of passport request in August, or am I being too optimistic?

There wasn’t none for me just got to trust the process. You will be ok God willing

By now if I have learned one thing for sure is that the process is slow. When I submitted pictures that were lost the first time around it almost took 1.5 months for someone to acknowledge that they had received the second batch of pics.

Thank you that is so kind of you :) I never really paid any attention to that before but I guess for now, it's hopefully a good sign based on what I am understanding. My application was received October 17.

How do you guys know when your background check started?? Mine only says : Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. there is no date attached to this information, please help, my application was received October 17

No idea , there’s nothing to show me that but when I call the automated message says : conducting background check something like that

Hi Kcward7, I am worried because I don't know if they ask for additional documents (if required) once the 12 months are completed or would they have done that along the time it took to get to the 12 months?
