That's explain why u need a bit longer time as need to wait for printing the visa. Those only send passport copies will a bit faster I suppose, just like my case.

I remembered that your passport is delivered on May 17, it should be updated tmr. As mine is delivered on May 15 and status updated on May 22.

It depends on which Visa Office, for Ottawa Office, in most cases, after received your passport, it is around one week to approve it (ecas) and another one week to receive the passport back. Few days up and down.
