I recommend you communicate with the Indian consulate asking to quit renewing your passport and send you the old on immaculately. I would even fly to where the consulate is if this would speed up the process. Good luck and keep us posted.

E-Cas does update you if you get a test notice. However, it doesn't do any updates if one receives a RQ.

You should have ordered CBSA report where it would show all your entries into Canada. I believe that CBSA report is the most important thing one should have at the interview. You will not be able to get one because it takes 40 days until you receive it. I do not think you will have a problem...
