Nope no DM yet .

My husband is also waiting. He did the test on October 11, 2018 and no decision made. We called a while back and they said everything looks good just background check not done yet. And wait until April 2019 to call Back.

I know someone who had a similar case didn’t know the full story but he had to contact and hire an immigration lawyer to continue his application. I believe he had to wait a very long time to get the citizenship.

My husband did his test on October 11 and still no decision made. Apparently it’s the background check. I was reading in another form where someone waited 5 months for decision made. 1 week after oath invite and 1 month after they went to the ceremony. So I think by February maybe.

We are from Ottawa! The process is for my Husband only. He did his test Oct. 11 (passed 20/20) still no DM. He’s still IP. I don’t think he will get oath now. We believe maybe in January or late February. His aunt waited 3 months for oath.

Really? I thought for sure you would have gotten DM :( My husband is still waiting too. I check all the time. His aunt waited 2 months for DM then after 1 week she got oath letter. She got her citizenship last Friday. If we get DM I’ll let you know.

No I am not applying for Canadian citizenship because I was born here already have it. The process is for my husband.

When he finished the test they told him everything was good nothing missing. But when we called them last week they said background check pending. So we are very confused.

He didn’t get the Decision Made yet. So oath invite probably by next year.

My husband got invite for test on August 22 to do the test on sept 6, but he failed. He got another invite I believe 2 weeks after and did it the second time on oct 11 and he passed.

No decision made yet? Just looked now and still nothing :( still IP.

Yeah. Maybe that’s how it will be for my husband. I don’t think he will get oath invite this year I think by January or February. 1-888-242-2100

Yeah same. I was telling someone that it’s taking long for DM because of background check and because my husbands name is Mohammad and we are from the middle East it could mean something more background check? We aren’t sure we are very worried.
