To be honest I do not know much about the process of getting a PCC when you are outside Egypt. But if you have an Egyptian PCC which was issued less than 3 months ago then you should be good.

On the certificate, it says that it is valid for 3 months.

I submitted my PR application and received AOR on July 4th and my background check is still not started. Do not count too much on this 6 months. Currently most outland applicants have to wait more than 6 months.

I have no idea why my application was transferred to Cairo Visa Office. From what I saw on this forum, Egyptian express entry applications are normally processed in Ottawa.

Actually, I just searched online and found that NRT stands for "No Reportable Trace". So I do not think that this section is what is causing the delay.

Today I received the GCMS notes that I requested on November 20th. One very strange thing I found is that the "Due date" is a past date. Due date: 2016/8/26 Did anybody ever see this? Do you think this is normal? Thanks!

Thank you very much aussiegirl and Mohammed for your reply! My AOR is July 4th. So I will hit the 6 months mark after a couple of weeks. You are right that the background check for Egyptians usually takes over 2 months. So realistically, it does not seem like I am getting PPR anytime soon.
